	On Oct 18, Umenden will have the honor of being a part of a celebration of minimalism and ambient music at the University of Chicago. For this performance, Max is busting out the first in a series of experimental compositions which he has been working on for several months, very much influenced by studying Steve Reich's music and writings. These sounds will serve as a starting point for Kagan's signature improvisational rituals. 	1) Umenden's second "studio" LP "Red Wind", which includes the Tunguska piece "Skyglow" along with two new tracks, is available for your listening displeasure on Last.fm 2) We are also excited to report that Last.fm has at long last(fm) generated an impressive "music like Umenden" station. The magic of Last.fm is fully revealed: we haven't heard of most of these artists, yet we enjoy listening to them and are in many cases flattered by the comparison.
